Mukou Hadan - Sword of The Stranger Movie

The story is set in the Senkoku period. A rounin called Nanashi (meaning 'nameless') saves a young boy Kotarou and his dog Tobimaru at an abandoned temple. Kotarou has no family, is pursued by a mysterious militia organization from China and hires Nanashi as his bodyguard. Amongst the men who pursue Kotarou is a man called Rarou, a very skilled warrior with blond hair and blue eyes. He obeys an old man called Byakuran and is a member of the Chinese militia. Unlike his companions in the militia, he isn't serving any Emperor and just wants to fight with the strong.

Monkey Magic

From out of the fires of space he was born... Kongo, a monkey made of stone, magically brought to life.

Obsessed with a desire to learn and a need to be great, Kongo leaves his "family" on Flower Fruit Mountain in search of ancient knowledge and arcane wisdom. Not content to merely study and learn the mystical arts, Kongo masters the magic Jet Cloud, the first of his great weapons.

With the power of the Jet Cloud, Kongo gains mastery of the air and returns to his adopted home just in time. Humans are laying claim to the monkeys' ancestral home. With his Jet Cloud and his newly-learned magical wisdom, Kongo defeats the humans and proclaims himself King of Flower Fruit Mountain.


But in the Celestial Heavens, the gods are uneasy. A monkey defeating humans and declaring himself king? That cannot be allowed! They decide the monkeys must be taught a lesson and so they launch an attack on Kongo and all the monkeys of Flower Fruit Mountain.

BeStDivX just released a horror/thriller movie called “Long Weekend” which is actually a remake of an Australian film from 1978 with the same name. The remake is directed by Jamie Blanks who directed other horror films such as Urban Legend, Valentine, and local Australian film Storm Warning (I thought Storm Warning was actually a pretty good horror for a fairly unheard of Aussie movie). A suburban couple take a weekend vacation in the hopes of repairing their relationship. They set out to an isolated beach where they encounter nature’s revenge.

Attempting to resurrect their failing marriage, Peter and Marcia set out on a camping trip to a deserted stretch of the Australian coastline in the hope that a long weekend in the sunshine will help them patch their differences. They are a careless couple, littering the countryside with garbage, shooting guns and even driving away after killing a kangaroo with their truck. Their callous disregard for the environment soon becomes apparent when animals start to seek vengeance. Marcia and Peter have proved themselves to be destroyers of nature. Will the animals allow them to leave or will mother nature exact her own destruction?

Previously this was only available on Xbox Live, but now SPARE have released the DVD version which has Part 1 and Part 2 of the Watchmen game on it and is region free! Part 2 isn’t on Xbox Live yet afaik. I played a bit of the first part on XBL and I got a bit bored, never completed it, but it’s an alright game.

Description: This action-brawler acts as the prequel to the story in the Watchmen graphic novels and movie. Taking place in an alternate history of the 1980s, the game stars the two masked vigilantes Rorschach and Nite Owl, and features a co-operative mode so that players can team up to beat down the bad guys. This retail release of Watchmen: The End is Nigh includes both chapters of the epic Watchmen adventure. Part 1 takes place more than a decade before the film’s main story, delving into the partnership of urban vigilantes Rorschach and Nite Owl before the hero-banning Keene Act. In Part 2, the duo team up again as Rorschach contacts Nite Owl to help solve the case of a missing girl, Violet Greene.
